Piatti a Catino are one of the most distinctive forms of medieval Maiolica Arcaica, characterised by their broad, typically deep shape. Originally intended for everyday use, these vessels have become over time an expression of significant aesthetic value.

In this selection, each piece is handmade and hand-decorated using traditional techniques that faithfully evoke the motifs and distinctive features of medieval Italian ceramics, with particular attention to the medieval production of Tuscia, an area encompassing southern Tuscany, northern Lazio and Umbria. The surfaces feature simple yet characterful decorations, where the handmade quality of each piece remains visible.
