Handcrafted Maiolica Inspired by Medieval Ceramics

Handcrafted in Pitigliano, Tuscany

Our mezza maiolica ceramics are entirely handmade in our workshop in Pitigliano, Tuscany, following a traditional craft process that preserves and celebrates the knowledge of ceramic making.

Medieval Decorations and Historic Colours

The decorations, inspired by the medieval iconographic tradition, feature traditional copper green and manganese pigments, characteristic of historic maiolica and of ceramic production from the Early and Late Middle Ages.

Shapes and Motifs from the Medieval Ceramic Tradition

The shapes and decorations draw on medieval ceramic traditions, reinterpreting ancient motifs through careful craftsmanship that respects historic techniques and original materials.

Unique Pieces Combining Functionality and Historical Character

Every piece is created through an entirely handmade process, making each object unique and one of a kind, with subtle variations that bear witness to its authenticity.

Designed both for everyday use and as decorative pieces, these objects combine functionality with historical character, bringing into the home a handcrafted object that tells the story of the continuity of the medieval ceramic tradition.
