This maiolica countertop washbasin, designed to sit on top of a vanity unit or worktop, is entirely handmade in our workshop in Pitigliano, Tuscany. The decoration, inspired by medieval iconographic heritage, is executed in the traditional colours of copper green and manganese.
The truncated cone basin shape with a rounded rim recalls the essential lines of historical ceramics, reinterpreting them in a contemporary key to create a furnishing element with an authentic and timeless character. Each washbasin is born from the combination of traditional techniques and modern functionality, keeping alive the dialogue between craftsmanship, history, and design.
Entirely shaped, glazed, and decorated by hand, each piece is unique. Slight variations in shape, brushwork, and shade are the hallmark of artisanal workmanship and testify to the uniqueness of each creation.
Designed for classic, rustic, or contemporary settings, this washbasin transforms your bathroom or kitchen into a space full of personality, bringing with it the beauty of medieval maiolica and the expertise of an artisan workshop that has been crafting ceramics in the heart of Tuscany since 1977.
