Brocca trilobata (trefoil-mouthed jug): a traditional medieval form, with a mouth pinched into three lobes for pouring.
height: approx. 19 cm
capacity: 1 l
Jug with a trefoil mouth and a flared, bell-shaped base.
This mezza maiolica jug is entirely handmade in our workshop in Pitigliano, Tuscany. The decoration, inspired by medieval iconographic heritage, is executed in the traditional colours of copper green and manganese, typical of Maiolica Arcaica.
The shapes and decorations recall the medieval tradition, reinterpreted through careful craftsmanship that respects historical techniques. Each piece is the result of a manual process that makes every creation unique, with slight variations in shape and colour that attest to its authenticity.
Designed both for daily use and as a decorative element, this is an object capable of combining functionality, historical value, and timeless beauty.
