This ceremonial display plate, also known as a Piatto da Pompa, is a unique piece entirely handmade in the Ceramiche Polidori workshop in Pitigliano.

It was created through the interplay of form, colour and precious materials: the body is made of lustred maiolica using the third-firing technique, enriched with lustre and finished with pure gold and platinum. The resulting surface shifts with the light, capturing and reflecting it with elegance and depth.

Iridescent reflections and metallic tones come together in a unique expressive language, enhancing the form of the plate and giving it a sophisticated, timeless character. Changing plays of light create ever-different effects, adding character to any interior.

Each piece is unique: subtle variations in shape and decoration bear witness to the authenticity of the handmade process, making every plate a collectible work of art.

Designed as a distinctive decorative object, this plate brings character to both contemporary and classic interiors, becoming a focal point in the space and interacting with the surrounding light and surfaces.

Made using ancient techniques reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility, each piece tells a story of tradition, research and passion, carried forward in the Polidori workshop since 1977.

A distinctive gift for lovers of fine Italian craftsmanship, or a unique design piece capable of bringing light, materiality and personality to any space.
