Brocca versatoio (pouring jug): a traditional medieval form used to pour and serve wine and water at the table.

Pouring jug with a globe-shaped body, tall neck towards the trefoil rim, ribbon handle, and flared foot.

This mezza maiolica jug is entirely handmade in our workshop in Pitigliano, Tuscany. The peacock tail decoration, inspired by the medieval iconographic heritage, is executed in the traditional colours of copper green, midnight blue, manganese, and ochre yellow, typical of the maiolica of that time.

Shapes and decorations recall the late medieval tradition, reinterpreted through craftsmanship that is attentive and respectful of historical techniques. Each piece is born from a manual process that makes every creation unique, with slight variations in shape and colour that attest to its authenticity.

Designed for both daily use and as a decorative element, this is an object capable of combining functionality, historical value, and timeless beauty.
